Single
System
Hockey’s Single System is the development pathway (see diagram below)
for players, coaches and officials of all ages and abilities to reach
their full potential. It is based on a set of principles that puts the
participant at the centre and is based on scientific research that has
been widely accepted by the majority of other major sports within England.
Northamptonshire Hockey
will initially have JDCs located at Moulton College (Northampton) and
Wrenn School (Wellingborough). The JAC will also be located at the
Water-based facility at Moulton College.
Northamptonshire JDC Programme
All young players
are invited to attend the JDCs at either Wellingborough or Moulton College.
Wellingborough (Mondays)
05 - 19 October & 09 November - 7 December
(No sessions on 26 October & 2 November)

Moulton College
- Gate 4 (Wednesdays)

Northamptonshire Junior Academy Centre Programme
Players will be invited to attend the Junior Academy Centres (JAC) following the completion of the Junior Development Centre (JDC) programme.
JAC dates:
| Girls trials (all players welcome) | 18th & 25th Jan 2010 @ Wellingborough School |
| Boys trials (all players welcome) | 20th & 27th Jan 2010 @ Moulton College |
| Girls JAC (invited players) | 01 Feb - 22 Mar @ Wellingborough School (excl 15 Feb) |
| Boys JAC (invited players) | 03 Feb - 24 Mar @ Moulton College (excl 17 Feb) |
Cost £45 per invited player - times to be confirmed
